I work with scores that have manifested as live and digital performances, audiobook, podcast, and exhibitions. In developing a method of scoring spaces and narratives, I use text, costume, set design, movement, and soundscapes to explore the nebulousness of memory and its formative role in questions of identity, belonging, and home. Born in South Korea, I am a Swedish artist educated in the UK, the US, and Malmö, now living and working in Copenhagen. Being displaced from contexts and living between languages has drawn me to translation processes and questioning their relation to fidelity and mastery. What can be imagined beyond this bind, especially in an age of ubiquitous translation where smooth, instantaneous access is assumed and rarely questioned? I work with textual world building—whether translating feminist poetry or creating animated films, computer games, pedagogical performances, and digital platforms—to make space for difficult, measured, quiet thoughts.

My artistic development project (KUV) focuses on animation, games, play, digital landscapes and pedagogy. In 2024 I conducted “Let’s Play: Digital games and animation as modes of  Pedagogy” (2024) My current project 2025-26 is “Spatializing Clouds: Research on digital imaging of climate change and its’ impact on digital landscapes.”
