The Academy of Fine Arts' building complex includes Charlottenborg Castle at Kgs. Nytorv 1, the Exhibition Building in Nyhavn 2 and Peder Skrams Gade 2 (commonly known as Hirschsprung), which is an apartment building behind the castle.
Between Charlottenborg Palace and Hirschsprung in Peder Skrams Gade are the Sculpture Garden and the so called 'Billedhuggerlængen', connecting the palace with Hirschsprung in Peder Skrams Gade.
The buildings house schools, workshops, studios, administration, operations and an art gallery.
