Strategy 2025-29

The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts offers a practice-based and highly specialized art education with the aim of educating the most important artists of our time. Kunsthal Charlottenborg, which is part of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, exhibits Danish and international visual art for the benefit of cultural life and the public.

As Denmark's only state visual arts education, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts is the heart of Danish art and today offers a practice-based and highly specialized art education.

The Academy's strategy is based on the Academy's mission; to offer artistic bachelor and master programs and to run Kunsthal Charlottenborg as an important exhibition venue for Danish and international art from recent times.

The Academy's Board has adopted the strategy, which brings together the Academy's vision and direction towards 2029 in three main focus areas: practice, communities and society.
