Batalje (Skirmish) is the title of an exhibition revealing two new works by Simone Aaberg Kærn: A war painting in three parts portraying the Danish effort in Libya and a controversial draft that was rejected by the Museum of National History.
Kærn’s tripartite painting illustrates the war in Libya based on Kærn’s own observations as well as quotes from art history and the work of contemporary war photographers.
